Tender description
Northern Pinetree Trust was established as a Charity in 1996. The objectives of the organisation are to provide business and enterprise support to people who have a disability (physical, mental, sensory, learning or hidden disability) and those who are disadvantaged by situation or circumstances and who have similar or additional support needs. NPT provides a range of business and enterprise support programmes mostly on an outreach or community basis. The contractors will be required to offer support to individuals at various stages of the enterprise journey. This includes pre start enterprise awareness and coaching, business planning, counseling and training as well as access to finance through the Spirit of Enterprise loan fund.
The enterprise coaching services will align with the eligibility and delivery arrangements for the Solutions for Business (SfB) product ‘Enterprise Coaching’ which is tailored, personalised or one-to-one coaching to cultivate interest in enterprise amongst people who would not otherwise consider setting up in business as an option. The purpose of this tender is to establish a contract for a supplier to act as a compliance and data collection officer for part of the duration of the contract whilst the organisation evaluates the benefits of directly employing a person to fulfil this role.
